Equity is foundational to my work. I offer sliding scale slots to ensure therapy remains available to our community.

My Approach

Adolescence is a brief, complicated, and unrepeatable moment. It is the season where the "inner voice" begins to take shape—and so often, that voice is borrowed from the social world rather than the truth of the self. I believe that a child’s ability to grow is inextricably linked to their ability to play. Safety is the prerequisite for that play, and my primary goal is to provide a container where a young person feels safe enough to stop filtering and start discovering.

From Performance to Presence

Many young people today feel a soul-crushing despair—the feeling that tomorrow will be just like today, and things can’t change. In our sessions, I work to help adolescents recognize the parts of themselves—the frightened, the glorious, and the contradictory—and give them a chair at the table. We practice the art of noticing: paying attention to the body, honoring the "vibes" of the moment, and understanding that their symptoms are not problems to be solved, but messages with meaning.

Relational Roots

We are not unitary beings; we are a composite of our experiences and our genealogies. I work with youth to explore how their history and environment inform their present, helping them move from a static way of being to a flexible, intentional life. By giving them my full attention—I help them realize that while pain may be inevitable, they do not have to bear their untold stories alone. When we finally give voice to these stories, they cease to be "black holes" and instead become fertile soil for growth.
